Fork Lift Truck Driver Refresher Courses

 Course Details:

All successful candidates receive a valid Fork Lift Driver certificate, which is valid for 3 years. There are two main types of forklift trucks, Counterbalance or Reach. Please ensure you are aware of and advise us on what type of truck you wish to be trained on when making a booking. All candidates must provide their own Personal Protective Equipment (e.g. Safety boots, High Visibility Clothing)

Who Should  Attend

Currently Certified Drivers who have had adequate basic training should attend this course. They should have previously been certified but now require their skills to be updated, perhaps due to long intervals of time between operating lift trucks, or if changes in work practices/vehicles have occurred, or there is evidence of deterioration in the operators performance.

Pre-Course Requirements 

Valid Fork Lift truck Licence.  English is the language in which training is delivered and participants must have a good command of the English language. If participants wish to bring an interpreter this can be arranged with prior notice which must be given to Healthforce

Assessment / Certification

Participants complete a theoretical and practical exam.

On successful completion of the exam participants are awarded a Forklift Operators Beginner Certificate.

Certificates are valid for three years and must be refreshed before the date of issue within the 3 year time period
