Executive Medical Screening:

Executive Health Screening has become a popular new concept to healthcare in Ireland and both employers and employees are now realising the importance of being proactive about health. Employees are your most valuable asset and this form of screening provides for early detection of illness which could reduce health problems for the employee in the future as early detection is the key for successful treatment in many diseases. This will in turn be an advantage for the organisation as it will help reduce sickness absence and the associated costs with this.

The executive medical takes approximately 2 hours to complete and each employee will be firstly assessed by the occupational health nurse before proceeding to a full examination by the occupational health physician.

Our executive medical includes the following:

Examination:

• Height
• Weight
• Body mass index/% body fat
• Blood pressure (24 hour ambulatory monitoring of blood pressure is recommended if high blood pressure is detected, at additional cost).
• Heart rate analysis including full ECG (heart tracing used to detect possible elements of hear disease)
• Full vision screening
• Hearing check

Blood tests:

Full blood profile:
Blood tests for cholesterol, diabetes, full kidney function, liver function, anaemia, gout, infection/inflammatory disease processes.

Add on options:
PSA additional €50
DEXA Scan (to detect osteoporosis in women) additional €90
Smear test for women additional €50

Health and Lifestyle Consultation and Report:

We provide the employee with advice on diet and life style issues and weight management.

Report:

A written report and full explanation of results is sent to the client within 5 working days of the screening.
